Every business has a story. Ours began with a paintbrush, a steady hand, and a passion for craftsmanship.

Long before modern sign fabrication, founder Kim Sutton built his reputation by hand-lettering boats, cars, trucks, and storefronts. More than 50 years after Kim began developing his craft, that same commitment to quality continues to guide Vintage Sign & Light.

Today, we are a veteran-owned, family-operated, state-certified electrical sign contractor serving businesses across Florida and beyond.

Where It All Began

Kim Sutton discovered his passion for sign design through traditional hand lettering. Every project required patience, precision, and careful attention to detail.

His early work on boats, vehicles, windows, and storefronts taught him that a great sign is more than a display. It helps customers notice a business, recognize its brand, and form a strong first impression.

After relocating to Florida’s Emerald Coast, Kim founded Vintage Art & Sign in 2011. As customer needs grew, the business expanded and became Vintage Sign & Light, a full-service commercial signage company built on the same craftsmanship and personal service that shaped Kim’s early work.
